These landscapes are my main love in painting. It gives me a chance to use many different techniques, particularly with my watercolours, including using masking fluid, sprinkled salt, slashing with a razor and scumbling.

Seen from unusual viewpoints, these city churches were often 'fitted' into odd shaped sites with different facets exposed by redevelopment and then hidden again.
